Job summary

Akima Global Logistics (AGL), an Akima company, seeks a Material Coordinator to manage movement, accountability, and documentation of Army equipment at a contractor-managed turn-in site. You will coordinate with supply, warehousing, and transportation staff to ensure proper handling, tagging, and data entry into Army systems for accurate records.

Required are 3–5 years in logistics, familiarity with Army forms and systems (GCSS-Army, DPAS, LMP, TC-AIMS II), and a high school diploma.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; experience preferred.
• 3–5 years of logistics, supply, or materiel management experience.
• Army experience in equipment turn-in or supply support preferred; familiar with Army docs and regs.
• Knowledge of Army systems: GCSS-Army, DPAS, LMP, TC-AIMS II; CAC and background checks.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate receipt, staging, and movement of Army equipment turned in by units.
• Ensure proper sequencing and prioritization for inspection, accountability, and storage.
• Track turn-in status from receipt to final disposition.
• Support high-volume turn-ins with workflow management and resource allocation.
• Validate supply documents (DA 1348-1A, DD 200, hand receipts, condition codes).
• Enter data into Army systems (GCSS-Army, DPAS, LMP).
• Maintain logs and reports for daily/weekly/monthly activity.
• Coordinate with warehouse staff for storage and location management.
