Job summary

Akima Global Logistics (AGL) is seeking a Material Coordinator to manage the movement, documentation, and accountability of Army equipment at a contractor-managed turn-in site. You will coordinate with supply, warehousing, and transportation to ensure proper handling and disposition.

The role requires strong leadership, MS Office proficiency, and experience with Army regulations and logistics systems. On-site work with travel up to 25% is possible as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; Associate's in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field is a plus.
• 3–5 years of logistics, supply, or materiel management experience.
• Prior U.S. Army or contractor experience in equipment turn-in or supply support activities (SSA) strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate receipt, staging, and movement of equipment turned in by Army units.
• Ensure sequencing and prioritization for inspection, accountability, and storage.
• Track status of turn-ins from receipt through final disposition.
• Support high-volume turn-in operations by managing workflow and resources.
• Review and validate supply documents such as DA Form 1348-1A, DD Form 200, hand receipts, and condition codes.
• Enter data into Army systems (GCSS-Army, DPAS, LMP).
• Maintain logs, reports for daily/weekly/monthly activity.
• Assist unit supply personnel during turn-in to resolve documentation discrepancies.
