Job summary

Akima Global Logistics (AGL) seeks a Material Coordinator to manage the movement, accountability, and documentation of Army equipment at a contractor-managed turn-in site. You will ensure flow through the turn-in process, comply with Army regulations, and update logistics systems accurately.

You will collaborate with supply, warehousing, and transportation teams to receive, classify, stage, and process equipment for accountability and disposition, supporting high-volume operations and audit

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred; associate degree in logistics/supply chain desirable.
• 3–5 years of logistics, supply, or materiel management experience.
• Experience with Army documentation and supply regulations preferred.
• Familiarity with Army logistics systems: GCSS-Army, DPAS, LMP, TC-AIMS II.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate receipt, staging, and movement of equipment turned in by Army units.
• Ensure proper sequencing and prioritization for inspection, accountability, and storage.
• Track status of turn-ins from receipt to final disposition.
• Support high-volume turn-in operations by managing workflow and resources.
• Review and validate supply documents (DA Form 1348-1A, DD Form 200, hand receipts).
• Ensure timely data entry into Army systems (GCSS-Army, DPAS, LMP).
• Maintain logs, spreadsheets, and reports for daily/weekly/monthly activity.
• Coordinate with warehouse staff for storage, location management, and retrieval of equipment.
