Job summary

Allied Universal in Sioux Falls is seeking an Armed Security Site Supervisor to oversee security operations at a client site, coordinating a team of security officers and ensuring quality service.

The role requires strong leadership, crisis management, and clear communication; candidates must pass background checks, possess a valid Concealed Carry/CPO where required, and be prepared for shift work including holidays.

Qualifications

• Be at least 21 years old with high school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state/local laws and regulations.
• Background check and drug screen required by law and policy.
• Demonstrate exceptional customer service and communication abilities.
• Intermediate computer skills to operate wireless technology at client sites.
• Ability to handle crisis situations calmly and efficiently.
• Experience with scheduling/billing reports for business management.
• Support staffing processes, including interviewing candidates.
• Lead and coach staff; manage performance and discipline.
• Ability to work in varied environments and lift up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the delivery of quality services to an assigned customer.
• Serve as liaison between customers, Operations Managers and security officers.
• Supervise site staff and provide coaching, recognition and discipline within empowerment range.
• Communicate staffing needs to Operations Manager and assist in interviewing candidates.
• Ensure officers receive appropriate training and develop them technically and professionally.
• Handle grievances with HR support as needed.
• Operate scheduling and billing software to generate reports and drive management actions.
• Work across shifts; participate in last-minute scheduling and on-call coverage.
• Operate across diverse environments; adapt to weather and physical demands.
