Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking an Armed Security Shift Supervisor to oversee security operations on a client site, on a specific shift. You will supervise officers, coordinate with the Site Supervisor and Account Manager, and ensure delivery of quality services.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication, crisis management, and coaching skills; be at least 21 with a high school diploma or equivalent; and be capable of operating basic client-site wireless tech.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old with high school diploma or equivalent
• Strong written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
• Licensing requirements are state/local dependent and may be required prior to employment
• Background check and drug screen required per law
• Demonstrated customer service and communication skills
• Ability to operate basic client-site wireless technology
• Ability to handle crises calmly and efficiently
• Communicate staffing needs on shift to management
• Supervise officers and provide coaching and training as needed
• Administer safety programs and site-specific hazard controls
• Assist with uniforms, equipment, and vehicle management
• Able to work in varying environments and lift up to 40 pounds

Responsibilities

• Oversee delivery of services on a specific shift
• Coordinate with site supervisor and Account Manager/Field Ops Manager
• Supervise security staff and provide coaching and discipline as needed
• Ensure officers receive appropriate training and adhere to procedures
• Communicate staffing needs and shift coverage to management
• Administer JSA's and safety programs; manage site hazards
• Assist with inventory of uniforms, equipment, and vehicles
