Job summary

Allied Universal in Houston, TX is hiring a Part-Time Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver Deterrence to protect customers and assets at a retail site. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• TX Level III Armed Certification required.
• Must be at least 21 years old for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to store personnel, customers, and visitors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, receiving areas, parking lots, and the surrounding perimeter.
• Monitor for unusual activity, potential theft, and policy violations, and document observations and incidents accurately.
• Carry and maintain authorized equipment in accordance with applicable laws, training, Allied Universal policies, and site requirements.
