Job summary

Allied Universal in Houston, TX is seeking a Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver Texas Level III to safeguard our clients across a retail environment. This role requires conducting regular armed patrols, responding to incidents, and maintaining a visible security presence while delivering excellent customer service.

You will need a valid Texas driver’s license and a Level III Armed Certification, be at least 21, and pass a background check and drug screen.

Qualifications

• At least three years of combined law enforcement, corrections, or military experience, or five years of armed security experience.
• Valid Texas driver’s license in accordance with policy.
• Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Responsibilities

• Provide security and customer service at a retail location by following procedures and policies.
• Respond to incidents calmly and according to established protocols.
• Conduct regular armed patrols across the site, including sales areas and parking lots.
• Monitor for suspicious activity and deter theft and unauthorized activity.
• Maintain accurate logs and reports and communicate with leadership.
