Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver Level Three in Houston, TX. This part-time role requires patrolling a retail location, providing customer service, and maintaining a visible security presence to deter incidents.

Qualified candidates will have 3+ years in law enforcement/corrections/military or 5+ years in armed security, plus a valid Texas Level III Armed Certification and a driver’s license. The position requires background screening and a drug test.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of combined law enforcement, corrections, or military experience, or 5+ years in armed security.
• Valid Texas Level III Armed Certification.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and employees per site policies.
• Respond calmly to incidents and coordinate with responders as needed.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of the retail location, including sales and parking areas.
• Monitor for suspicious activity and deter theft or trespassing.
• Carry authorized equipment in compliance with laws and Allied Universal policies.
