Job summary

Allied Universal, a leading security and facilities services provider, is seeking a part-time Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver with Military Experience in Houston, TX. You will protect clients across Retail/Malls and other sites while providing excellent customer service and responding to incidents.

This role emphasizes armed patrols, report writing, and adherence to site policies. A Texas Level III Armed Certification, a valid driver's license, and 21+ are required.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of combined law enforcement, corrections, or military experience, or at least 5 years of armed security experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required per Allied Universal policy.
• Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and store personnel by carrying out security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional manner, escalating as needed.
• Conduct regular armed patrols in retail areas and parking lots to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious behavior to management and law enforcement as needed.
• Complete detailed incident reports and communicate observations to store management and Allied Universal leadership.
