Job summary

Allied Universal in Houston, TX is seeking a part-time Armed Security Officer for weekend shifts. You will provide professional security, patrol duties, and customer service at government locations while upholding the company’s standards.

Qualified candidates will have an armed guard card/license, Level III Texas certification, and at least 6 months of armed security experience. A valid driver's license, background check, and drug screen are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirements include a valid driver's license, an armed guard credential, and relevant armed security experience.
• Must be at least 21 years old and possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required; industry-specific training may be provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and the public while enforcing security procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms and emergencies in a calm, professional manner; document observations.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of government facilities, verify access, and report suspicious activity.
• Maintain firearm readiness and comply with laws, policies, and site requirements.
