Walden Security is seeking experienced Court Security Officers to provide armed security for courthouses under the USMS contract in Cleveland, Ohio.

Responsibilities include entrance control, roving patrols, stationary post duties, escorting judges and staff, and enforcing federal law within court facilities. Requires a high school diploma or GED, 3+ years of verifiable law enforcement experience, and DOJ clearance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 3+ years verifiable law enforcement experience within last 7 years.
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Must have a valid driver's license and DOJ clearance; cert/academy training evidence required.
• Must be at least 21 years old; able to pass drug screen and background check.

Responsabilités

• Perform entrance control using screening equipment to detect weapons and contraband.
• Roaming patrol of court facilities and grounds.
• Stand guard at stationary posts including courtrooms and judge chambers.
• Provide armed escort duties for judges and court personnel as needed.
• Direct traffic and control lights on court facility properties.
• Enforce federal law and protect government personnel and property.
• Prepare reports on security incidents, labor hours, and accidents.
• Secure unattended courtrooms and inspect rooms prior to proceedings.
• Maintain order in courtroom and enforce court rules and safety protocols.
