Walden Security is seeking experienced Court Security Officers to provide armed security for courthouses under a USMS contract. Duties include entrance control, roving and stationary posts, escorts, traffic control, and enforcing federal law to protect people and property.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, 3+ years as a certified law enforcement officer, English fluency, a valid driver’s license with a 5-year clean record, DOJ clearance, and completion of a certified training

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least three (3) calendar years of verifiable experience as a certified law enforcement officer or equivalent within last seven years.
• Must read, write, speak and understand English.
• Must have a valid driver's license and safe driving record for past five years; DOJ clearance.
• Completed or graduated from certified law enforcement training academy; provide proof.
• Must be at least 21 years old; pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Must meet medical standards per USMS contract; accommodations available.

Responsabilités

• Perform entrance control screening and enforce entry/ID system.
• Roaming and stationary post assignments; monitor security devices and courthouses.
• Provide armed escort duties for judges and court personnel.
• Direct traffic and control lights on court facilities where applicable.
• Enforce federal law and protect government employees and property.
• Prepare reports on contract performance, incidents, and security issues.
• Ensure courtroom security and adherence to court rules.
