Walden Security is currently recruiting experienced Court Security Officers to provide armed security to courthouses under the USMS contract. Essential duties include entrance control, roving patrols, stationary post assignments, escort services, traffic control, and enforcing federal law.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and at least three years as a certified law enforcement officer, English proficiency, valid driver’s license with DOJ clearance, and the ability to pass a

Formación

• Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or GED; at least 3 years as a certified law enforcement officer or equivalent within last 7 years.
• Language Skills: Read, write, speak and understand English; able to interpret procedures.
• Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record; DOJ clearance; certification from accredited law enforcement training academy.
• Other Qualifications: Must be at least 21; able to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Responsabilidades

• Perform entrance control using security screening equipment to detect weapons, contraband, and prohibited items.
• Perform roving patrols of court facilities and grounds per post orders.
• Perform stationary post assignments including monitoring CCTV and alarm systems.
• Perform escort duties for judges and court personnel as directed.
• Direct traffic and manage parking and pedestrian flow on facility properties.
• Enforce federal law and court rules; detain individuals as needed.
• Prepare reports on contract performance, incidents, and security issues.
• Secure unattended courtrooms and participate in court proceedings as required.
• Maintain security presence and protect court proceedings as circumstances dictate.
