Job summary

Walden Security is actively recruiting experienced Court Security Officers to provide armed security for courthouses under the USMS contract. Responsibilities include entrance control, roving patrols, stationary posts, escort duties, traffic control, and enforcement of federal law to protect courts and personnel.

Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED and at least three years of verifiable law enforcement or military experience with general arrest authority.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 3+ years as a certified law enforcement officer or military equivalent within last 7 years; general arrest authority.

Responsibilities

• Perform entrance control and operate security screening equipment.
• Roaming patrol of court facilities and grounds.
• Stand stationary posts including CCTV and alarms.
• Provide armed escort services for judges and court personnel.
• Direct traffic and control lights at court facilities; enforce federal law.
