Job summary

Walden Security is recruiting experienced Court Security Officers to provide armed security for courthouses under the USMS contract. Duties include entrance control, roving patrols, stationary post assignments, armed escort for judges and personnel, traffic control, and enforcing federal law.

Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, 3+ years of verifiable law enforcement experience, English proficiency, a valid driver’s license with a clean record, DOJ clearance, and pass

Qualifications

• English proficiency required.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 3 years of verifiable law enforcement experience within the last 7 years.

Responsibilities

• Perform entrance control and inspect items at security checkpoints.
• Roaming patrol of court facilities and grounds.
• Monitor stationary posts and CCTV, duress alarms, and security equipment.
• Provide armed escort duties for judges and court personnel as needed.
• Direct traffic and manage parking and pedestrian flow on facility grounds.
• Enforce federal law and detain unauthorized or dangerous individuals.
