Job summary

Walden Security in Cleveland, OH is seeking experienced Court Security Officers to serve under the USMS contract. CSOs will provide armed security to courthouses, enforcing federal law and maintaining order in court facilities.

Duties include controlling access, patrolling, monitoring CCTV, escorting court personnel, directing traffic, and reporting incidents. Applicants must meet law enforcement credentials, pass background checks, and hold a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 3+ years verifiable law enforcement experience.
• Experience within last seven years with general arrest authority.
• Must have valid driver's license and DOJ clearance.

Responsibilities

• Perform entrance control and inspect items with screening equipment.
• Conduct roving patrols of court facilities.
• Operate stationary posts including CCTV and alarm systems.
• Provide armed escort services for judges and court personnel.
• Direct traffic and control parking at court facilities.
• Enforce federal law and deter unauthorized access.
• Prepare and file reports on incidents and contract performance.
• Secure unattended courtrooms and test security devices prior to proceedings.
• Maintain order and protect court proceedings as needed.
