Job summary

Ross Stores, Inc. seeks an Area Supervisor to lead a specific store area and supervise operations when on duty. You’ll open/close the store, oversee Associates, and maintain a welcoming, well-merchandised environment that aligns with company standards.

You’ll apply loss prevention, customer service, and merchandising best practices, coach team members, and ensure safe, efficient store processes across front-end, stockroom, and backroom areas.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Fluency in English.
• Prior Customer Service and supervisory experience preferred.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale equipment and applications.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store as assigned by Store Leadership.
• Supervise Associates and maintain a friendly, easy to shop environment.
• Ensure proper merchandise presentation and a clean work area.
• Execute and supervise Company operational processes as needed.
• Assist with loss prevention and safety procedures.
• Coach and train Associates on cash handling and front-end procedures.
