Job summary

Ross Stores, Inc. is seeking an Area Supervisor to lead a defined store area and supervise operations when Manager on Duty. Responsibilities include opening/closing, supervising associates, and maintaining a safe, friendly, and easy-to-shop environment.

You will ensure proper merchandising, strong customer service, and adherence to company processes, with focus on loss prevention and front-end efficiency. This role requires leadership, communication, and the ability to train staff across shifts.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Fluency in English.
• Prior Customer Service and supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Open/close the store and supervise Associates.
• Maintain merchandise presentation and clean work areas.
• Execute and supervise Company operational processes as needed.
• Ensure safety, loss prevention, and customer service standards.
• Train and coach Associates on cash registers and front-end procedures.
• Manage scheduling, payroll, and back-office duties as assigned.
