Job summary

Ross Stores, Inc. is seeking an Area Supervisor to oversee a specific store area and manage daily operations when the Manager on Duty is unavailable.

You will open and close the store, supervise associates, ensure friendly customer service, and maintain merchandising standards to drive a safe and inviting shopping experience. The role emphasizes loss prevention, front-end supervision, and adherence to company policies.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Fluency in English.
• Prior Customer Service and supervisory experience preferred.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale equipment and applications.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations commonly used in retail.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a specific store area and supervise operations when Manager on Duty.
• Open and close the store, supervise Associates, maintain a friendly, easy to shop environment.
• Ensure proper merchandise presentation and clean work areas.
• Execute and supervise Company processes as needed.
• Support loss prevention, front-end operations, and merchandising in daily tasks.
