Job summary

Ross Stores, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Area Supervisor to lead a specific store area and supervise the team in the Manager on Duty role. You will ensure opening/closing procedures, a friendly shopping environment, proper merchandising, and clean work areas.

You will supervise Associates, uphold safety standards, and execute company processes to support daily operations and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Fluency in English.
• Prior customer service and supervisory experience preferred.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale equipment and applications.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations commonly used in retail environments.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store and supervise Associates as needed.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and merchandised store environment.
• Train and coach Associates on cash registers and Front End procedures.
• Manage stocking, pricing, and backroom organization.
• Assist with loss prevention and store operations as directed by Store Manager.
