Job summary

Ross Stores, Inc. is seeking an Area Supervisor to lead a store's operations, open and close the store, supervise associates and maintain a friendly, easy-to-shop environment.

You will ensure proper merchandise presentation and a clean work area at all times. Reporting to Store leadership, you will execute Company Best Practices, oversee front-end operations and loss prevention, train associates on cash handling, and coordinate stockroom and back-stock processes while delivering excellent

Qualifications

• Strong verbal communication skills and customer-service mindset.
• Fluency in English required.
• Prior customer service and supervisory experience preferred.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale equipment and applications.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations commonly used in retail.
• Availability to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store and supervise Associates as Manager on Duty.
• Maintain a safe, clean and merchandised store environment.
• Execute company best practices in front-end operations and loss prevention.
• Train and coach Associates on cash handling and store policies.
• Ensure stockroom and back-stock processes are organized and efficient.

Skills
