Job summary

Ross Stores, Inc. is seeking an Area Supervisor to oversee a specific store area and assist Store Leadership with overall operations. You will open/close the store, supervise Associates, and maintain a friendly, easy to shop environment.

You will ensure proper merchandise presentation, clean work areas, and execution of Company processes while supporting the Manager on Duty and store leadership team.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Fluency in English.
• Prior Customer Service and supervisory experience preferred.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale equipment and applications.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations commonly used in retail.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Oversees Front End operations to maintain customer flow and service standards.
• Trains and coaches Associates on cash handling, policy adherence, and efficiency.
• Monitors store safety, loss prevention, and keeps a presence on the sales floor.
• Ensures merchandise presentation and stockroom organization meet Company standards.
• Manages daily administrative duties and supports Store Manager as needed.
