Job summary

Ross Stores, Inc. is seeking an Area Supervisor to support store leadership in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. You will oversee a defined area, ensure safe operations, merchandise presentation, and customer service excellence while coaching Associates and enforcing company standards.

Responsibilities include opening/closing, front-end supervision, loss prevention, and effective merchandise handling. Strong communication and multi-tasking required; evenings/weekends availability preferred.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Fluency in English.
• Prior Customer Service and supervisory experience preferred.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale equipment and applications.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations commonly used in retail environments.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Associates and manage store operations as needed.
• Open and close the store and maintain a safe, clean, merchandised environment.
• Ensure proper cashier and front-end procedures and training.
• Support loss prevention, attendance, and compliance with company policies.
• Assist with merchandising, back stock, floor moves, and signing as required.
• Provide excellent customer service and represent the Ross brand professionally.
