Job summary

Ross Stores, Inc. is seeking an Area Supervisor to oversee a defined store area and front-end operations. You will be responsible for opening/closing the store, supervising associates, ensuring merchandising standards, and maintaining a safe, inviting shopping environment.

Responsibilities include enforcing loss prevention, training staff on POS usage, and delivering excellent customer service while upholding Ross’s brand and policies. Previous supervisory retail experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Fluency in English.
• Prior customer service and supervisory experience preferred.
• Familiarity with POS equipment.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store and supervise Associates as needed.
• Maintain merchandise presentation and a clean, welcoming work area.
• Execute and supervise Company operational processes.
• Train and coach Associates on cash registers and Front End procedures.
• Control staff scheduling and payroll administration as assigned.
