Job summary

Ross Stores, Inc. is seeking an Area Supervisor to lead a specific store area and supervise team members on duty. You will open and close the store, maintain merchandising standards, and ensure a safe, welcoming shopping environment while executing company procedures.

Responsibilities include supervising associates, training front-end staff, managing stockrooms, executing loss prevention practices, and upholding the Ross brand across the floor. Evening and weekend availability is required.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal communication required.
• Fluency in English.
• Prior customer service and supervisory experience preferred.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale equipment.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store and supervise Associates when on duty.
• Maintain a friendly, easy to shop environment and ensure proper merchandise presentation.
• Execute and supervise Company operational processes and store procedures.
• Support loss prevention and safety initiatives and maintain orderly stockrooms.
• Supervise Front End operations and ensure efficient checkout and customer flow.
• Assist with merchandising and back-stock management to company standards.
