Job summary

Ross Stores is seeking an Area Supervisor to oversee a specific area of a Ross store, including opening and closing, supervising associates, and maintaining a clean, inviting shopping environment.

You will ensure merchandise presentation, execute company processes, and contribute to safety, customer service, and loss prevention, while coaching teams and upholding Ross standards. This role requires flexibility to work evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Fluency in English.
• Prior Customer Service and supervisory experience preferred.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale equipment and applications.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations commonly used in retail environments.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store, supervise associates, and maintain a friendly shopping environment.
• Ensure proper merchandise presentation and maintain clean work areas.
• Execute and supervise Company operational processes as needed.
• Maintain safety and security, including loss prevention measures.
• Train and coach associates on cash registers, policies, and procedures.
