Job summary

Ross Stores, Inc. is seeking an Area Supervisor to join our leadership team in retail operations. You will oversee a designated store area, supervise Associates, and ensure safe, clean, and organized merchandising while maintaining strong customer service.

Responsibilities include enforcing company policies, managing front-end operations, training staff, and supporting store managers. Evening and weekend availability is preferred.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Fluency in English.
• Prior customer service and supervisory experience preferred.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale equipment and applications.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store, supervise associates, and maintain a friendly, easy-to-shop environment.
• Ensure proper merchandise presentation and clean work areas.
• Enforce loss prevention awareness and company policies.
• Coach and train front-end staff on cash registers and shortage control policies.
• Support the Store Manager with daily operations and administrative duties.
