Job summary

Ross Stores, Inc. is seeking an Area Supervisor to lead a specific store area and support overall store operations. You will supervise Associates, ensure a safe environment, and maintain merchandise presentation while upholding Ross's standards as the Manager on Duty.

The role emphasizes customer service, front-end supervision, and adherence to company policies. Evening/weekend availability and strong leadership are required.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Fluency in English.
• Prior Customer Service and supervisory experience preferred.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale equipment and applications.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations commonly used in retail environments.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Open/close the store and supervise associates when on duty.
• Maintain a clean, merchandised store and ensure proper merchandise presentation.
• Enforce safety, loss prevention and store security procedures.
• Train and coach associates on cash handling and front-end procedures.
• Perform administrative duties as assigned by Store Manager.
