Job summary

Ross Stores, Inc. is seeking a Store Area Supervisor to lead a designated area and oversee store operations as the Manager on Duty. You will supervise associates, ensure merchandise presentation, and maintain a safe, welcoming shopping environment.

You will champion company standards, train staff on cash handling, and collaborate with leadership to minimize loss and optimize front-end processes. Evening and weekend availability is required.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal communication and professional demeanor.
• Fluency in English required.
• Experience in customer service and supervision preferred.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale equipment.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store, supervising associates as needed.
• Maintain a friendly, easy-to-shop environment and proper merchandising.
• Ensure safety, security, and loss prevention practices are followed.
• Train and coach associates on cash handling and end-of-day procedures.
• Execute company best practices and drive front-end efficiency.
• Assist with floor moves, signing, and back-stock control.
