Job summary

Ross Stores, Inc. is seeking an Area Supervisor to manage a specific store area and assist with overall store operations. You will supervise Associates, ensure proper merchandise presentation, and maintain a safe, welcoming shopping environment.

You will support opening/closing, front-end processes, and daily administrative duties, while upholding the Ross brand and company standards. Evening and weekend availability is required for this role.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Fluency in English.
• Prior customer service and supervisory experience preferred.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale equipment and applications.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Open/close the store and supervise Associates.
• Maintain merchandise presentation and a clean, easy-to-shop environment.
• Execute and supervise store operational processes as needed.
• Maintain safety and security, and ensure proper loss prevention practices.
• Provide front-end supervision and staff coaching for cash handling and checkout processes.
• Assist in administrative duties and payroll-related tasks as assigned by the Store Manager.
