Job summary

Ross Stores, Inc. is seeking an Area Supervisor to lead a specific store area and supervise daily operations, ensuring a safe, clean, and customer-friendly environment.

You’ll manage merchandise presentation, open/close duties, and coach Associates in line with company standards. You will oversee front-end operations, loss prevention, merchandising, and administrative tasks, while upholding Ross values and delivering a positive shopping experience.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Fluency in English.
• Prior customer service and supervisory experience preferred.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale equipment and applications.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store and supervise Associates.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and well-merchandised selling area.
• Ensure proper merchandise presentation and stockroom organization.
• Lead loss prevention awareness and daily operational processes.
• Oversee Front End operations and cashier procedures.
• Administer payroll and scheduling as assigned.
