Job summary

Ross Stores is seeking an Area Supervisor to lead a specific store area and overall operations when acting as Manager on Duty. You will open/close the store, supervise Associates, and maintain a friendly, well-merchandised shopping environment.

Key duties include ensuring safe operations, training staff on POS, and executing company best practices to maximize productivity and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Fluency in English.
• Prior Customer Service and supervisory experience preferred.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale equipment and applications.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store as assigned and supervise associates on duty.
• Maintain merchandise presentation and a clean work area at all times.
• Ensure safety, loss prevention, and compliance with company policies.
• Train and coach associates on cash registers and front-end procedures.
