Ross Stores, Inc. is seeking an Area Supervisor to oversee a specific store area and the overall operations when acting as Manager on Duty.

You will open/close the store, supervise associates, ensure safety, maintain merchandising standards, and uphold company processes. You will lead front-end operations, monitor customer service, maintain clean facilities, and manage stockrooms and back stock according to corporate guidelines.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Fluency in English.
• Prior customer service and supervisory experience preferred.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale equipment and applications.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations commonly used in retail environments.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.

Responsabilités

• The Area Supervisor is responsible for opening and closing the Store, supervising Associates, and maintaining a friendly, easy to shop environment. They ensure proper merchandise presentation and maintain a clean work area at all times.
• Maintaining safe and secure environments and adhering to Loss Prevention practices.
• Overseeing front end supervision, cashier training, handling of line management to expedite customers, and ensuring adherence to store policies.
• Administrative duties including payroll administration and scheduling.
• Compliance with monthly presentation guidelines and back stock management.
• Fitting rooms, merchandise processing, stockroom organization and back stock security.
