Ross Stores, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Area Supervisor to oversee a specific store area and assist in general operations when the Manager on Duty is away. You will supervise Associates, open/close the store, and ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming shopping environment.

The role emphasizes maintaining brand standards, supervising front-end processes, and collaborating with leadership to keep merchandise organized and replenished.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Fluency in English.
• Prior customer service and supervisory experience preferred.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale equipment and applications.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations commonly used in retail environments.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Open/close the store and supervise staff when on duty.
• Maintain merchandise presentation and clean work areas.
• Enforce safety, loss prevention, and security procedures.
• Deliver friendly customer service and uphold brand standards.
• Train and coach associates on cash handling and front-end procedures.
• Assist with stockroom management and merchandising opportunities.
