Job summary

Ross Stores, Inc. is seeking an Area Supervisor to join our Store Leadership team. You will oversee a specific area of the store, manage daily operations, open/close, supervise Associates, and ensure a friendly, easy-to-shop environment with proper merchandising.

You will implement company processes, maintain safety and loss prevention, coach Associates, control front-end operations, and ensure stockrooms are organized while delivering exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• English fluency.
• Prior customer service and supervisory experience.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale equipment and applications.
• Ability to perform basic retail math.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store, supervise associates and maintain a friendly, easy-to-shop environment.
• Ensure proper merchandise presentation and a clean work area at all times.
• Execute and supervise company processes and compliance with safety and loss prevention.
• Lead front-end operations, train associates on cash handling and POS procedures.
• Perform administrative duties including payroll and scheduling as assigned.
