Job summary

Ross Stores, Inc. is seeking an Area Supervisor to lead a defined store area and manage operations alongside the Store Leadership team. You will supervise Associates, ensure merchandise presentation, maintain a clean and safe store, and uphold company procedures during daily activities.

The role emphasizes strong customer service, loss prevention, and the ability to train and coach staff while handling administrative duties as directed by the Store Manager.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Fluency in English.
• Prior customer service and supervisory experience preferred.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale equipment and applications.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store as Manager on Duty.
• Supervise Associates and maintain a friendly, easy-to-shop environment.
• Ensure proper merchandise presentation and store cleanliness.
• Lead loss prevention and security practices and safety protocols.
• Conduct Front End operations and staffing to meet performance standards.
• Complete administrative duties as assigned by Store Manager.
