Ross Stores is seeking an Area Supervisor to oversee a defined area of the store and support store operations as Manager on Duty. You will open/close the store, supervise associates, and maintain a practical, customer-friendly shopping environment with strong merchandising standards.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Fluency in English.
• Prior Customer Service and supervisory experience preferred.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale equipment and applications.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations commonly used in retail environments.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Maintains safe and secure shopping environment and leads loss prevention.
• Supervises Associates and ensures Store standards in merchandising and cleanliness.
• Opens and closes the Store and supports Manager on Duty as needed.
• Represents Ross Leadership with integrity and professionalism to customers and staff.
• Trains and coaches Associates on cash handling and front-end procedures, schedules breaks.
