Ross Stores, Inc. seeks an Area Supervisor to oversee a specific store area and general operations as Manager on Duty. Responsibilities include opening/closing, supervising Associates, maintaining a safe, clean, well-merchandised store, and enforcing company processes.

Key duties cover loss prevention, customer service excellence, and Front End supervision to ensure fast checkout and efficient store performance. Evening/weekend availability is required.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Fluency in English.
• Prior customer service and supervisory experience preferred.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale equipment and applications.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations used in retail.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.

Responsabilités

• Maintains safe and secure environments and follows safety procedures.
• Supervises Associates and ensures a friendly, easy-to-shop environment.
• Opens and closes the store and oversees daily operations as Manager on Duty.
• Ensures merchandise presentation and clean, organized stockrooms.
• Examines loss prevention and drives adherence to company standards.
• Trains Associates on cash handling, POS usage, and customer service.
