Job summary

Ross Stores is seeking an Area Supervisor to lead a defined store area and supervise operations when on duty. You will open/close the store, oversee Associates, and ensure a safe, well-merchandised, easy-to-shop environment while executing Company standards.

The role focuses on maintaining safety, delivering excellent customer service, and enforcing loss-prevention measures with professionalism and pace.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Fluency in English.
• Prior Customer Service and supervisory experience preferred.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale equipment and applications.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining Safe & Secure Environments on the sales floor and in store operations.
• Supervising Associates and ensuring friendly, professional customer service.
• Representing the Ross brand with professional appearance and conduct.
• Overseeing merchandising standards, stockrooms, and back-stock procedures.
• Managing front-end operations, including cash handling and checkout processes.
