Job summary

Tenpoint Therapeutics seeks an Area Sales Director to lead a high-performing field team across the Pacific Northwest and surrounding markets. You’ll recruit, coach, and execute territory strategy to drive rapid adoption of YUVEZZI™ in presbyopia.

The role demands 6+ years of pharma/medical sales, 2+ years of people leadership, and a Bachelor's degree. Travel and a driver’s license are required; hybrid/remote work is supported for this national launch.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of a documented track record of success in sales.
• Eye-care or pharma launch experience preferred.
• 2+ years of people leadership experience leading top-performing teams.
• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience).
• Currently have and maintain an unexpired driver’s license and driving record.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead a best-in-class team: attract, hire, onboard, and retain top Specialty Sales Managers; create a people-first, performance-driven culture with clear standards and accountability.
• Execute territory and account plans, coverage models, call cadence, routing, and goals; guide resource deployment and launch activities with Eye Care Professionals.
• Coach with rigor: conduct regular field rides and 1:1s; provide timely, actionable feedback and development plans.
• Drive results: lead the team to meet and exceed sales targets and activity metrics.
• Data-driven adoption: ensure teams use clinical evidence, patient selection, onset/duration expectations, safety, and workflow enablement.
• Support practice integration: equip sales teams and practices to adopt the therapy and utilize patient education resources.
• Cross-functional partnership: collaborate with Sales Training, Marketing, Operations and other partners.
• Change leadership: navigate ambiguity and guide the team through launch phases with integrity.
