Job summary

Ross Stores, Inc. is seeking an Area Supervisor to lead a specific store area and oversee daily operations as Manager on Duty. You will supervise Associates, ensure proper merchandising, maintain store cleanliness, and support everyday store processes.

Responsibilities include maintaining safety, loss prevention, front-end efficiency, stockroom organization, and training teammates to uphold Ross standards. Evening/weekend availability is required.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Fluency in English.
• Prior customer service and supervisory experience preferred.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale equipment and applications.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations used in retail.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store, supervise Associates, and act as Manager on Duty.
• Ensure proper merchandise presentation and a clean, easy-to-shop environment.
• Execute and supervise Company operational processes.
• Maintain safety, security, and Loss Prevention.
• Train and coach front-end and cash-handling procedures.
• Manage stocking, back-stock, and floor replenishment.
• Control break schedules and ensure equipment functionality.
