Job summary

Blank Street, Inc. is seeking an Operations Manager to lead an area of 5+ stores and the General Managers who run them. You will hire, coach and develop leaders, own the PnL, and drive process improvements, guest experiences, and store performance across a fast‑moving network.

You will build an A‑team, plan ahead for labor, inventory, and growth, and ensure consistent hospitality standards while rolling out new initiatives with clear communication and hands‑on training.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of leadership experience in hospitality, retail, or another fast‑growing consumer business.
• Experience leading multiple locations (3‑10) and developing the managers who run them.
• Passionate about hospitality and customer/employee experiences; high standards in every store.
• Strong operational and financial judgment; reads data (P&L, KPI dashboards) and acts.
• Proven people leader with hiring, coaching and change leadership experience.
• Strategic planner who can forecast and translate priorities into GM action plans.

Responsibilities

• Own an area of 5+ stores and the GMs who lead them.
• Hire, coach and develop an A* team of GMs and store leaders.
• Own area PnL; plan, prioritize and drive improvements across stores.
• Set labor targets, calibrate inventory and ensure hospitality standards.
• Roll out initiatives, provide training, and drive adoption across stores.
• Know KPIs and guide GMs with plans to improve performance weekly and quarterly.
