Job summary

Ross Stores, Inc. is seeking an Area Supervisor to lead a defined store area and assist Store Leadership with daily operations.

You will open and close the store, supervise Associates, and ensure a friendly, easy to shop environment while maintaining merchandise presentation and clean work areas. You will execute and supervise Company processes, maintain safety and security, manage Front End operations, and support loss prevention while delivering strong customer service and professional

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Fluency in English.
• Prior Customer Service and supervisory experience preferred.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale equipment and applications.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations commonly used in retail environments.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the Store and supervise Associates as Manager on Duty.
• Maintain a safe and secure shopping environment on the sales floor.
• Ensure proper merchandise presentation and clean work areas.
• Execute and supervise Company operational processes as needed.
• Lead Front End supervision and operations to maximize productivity and customer flow.
• Support loss prevention initiatives and enforce company policies.
