Job summary

Ross Stores, Inc. is seeking an Area Supervisor to manage a designated store area and assist in overall store operations. You will open and close the store, supervise Associates, and ensure a friendly, well-merchandised, clean shopping environment in line with Company standards.

You will uphold safety, loss prevention, and adherence to operating procedures while leading front-end operations and supporting store leadership. Evening and weekend work is required.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Fluency in English.
• Prior Customer Service and supervisory experience preferred.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale equipment and applications.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations commonly used in retail environments.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe, secure shopping environment and follow Loss Prevention practices.
• Open/close the store and supervise Associates as needed.
• Ensure proper merchandise presentation and clean work areas.
• Follow and supervise Company operational processes.
• Lead Front End operations and coach cashiers on POS procedures.
• Assist with payroll and scheduling as assigned by Store Manager.
