Job summary

Stord is seeking an Area Manager to lead a warehouse team and ensure accurate inventory control. You will oversee daily operations, coordinate with HR, Safety, and Customer Service, and drive efficiency through process improvements.

Ideal candidates have 2–4 years in high-volume warehousing with WMS, plus strong leadership and organizational skills. Flexibility for overtime is needed in a fast-paced distribution center environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two to four years’ experience with WMS/inventory in a high-volume facility.
• Previous leadership experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree or relevant experience.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, driving tasks to completion.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of warehouse associates and operations leads to deliver on daily goals.
• Work closely with support staff (HR, Safety, Customer Service, Other Ops Leaders) to drive results.
• Address operational and personnel issues affecting the functional area.
• Implement process improvements and workload efficiency mechanisms.
• Utilize workload planning tools and other resources to complete scheduled workload ensuring orders are fulfilled to meet standards.
• Investigate discrepancies and variances.
