Stord is seeking a Transportation Area Manager with strong communication and organizational skills to lead a warehouse team in a high-volume distribution center. You will own sortation, dock management, and the shipping department, coordinating with HR, Safety, and customer service to meet daily goals.

The role requires 2–4 years’ experience with automated sortation systems and WMS. Strong leadership, scheduling, and multitasking abilities are essential in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years’ experience with automated sortation systems, WMS, or dock management in a high-volume facility.
• Previous leadership experience.
• Ability to manage carriers and drivers daily.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsabilités

• Lead and develop a team of warehouse associates and operations leads to deliver on daily goals.
• Ownership of Sortation, Dock Management, and shipping department.
• Work closely with HR, Safety, Customer Service, and other Ops leaders to drive results.
• Implement process improvements and workload efficiency mechanisms.
• Utilize workload planning tools to complete scheduled workload and ensure orders are fulfilled to standards.
• Investigate discrepancies and variances.
• Perform to quality standards in multiple functions.
• Additional duties as assigned.
