Job summary

Stord, a leading consumer experience company, seeks an Area Manager to lead a warehouse team in a high-volume facility. You will ensure inventory accuracy, safety, and timely order fulfillment while managing shifts and coordinating with HR, Safety, and Customer Service.

You’ll drive process improvements, mentor supervisors, and prioritize workload to meet tight deadlines and service levels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience in operations or logistics.
• 2–4 years’ experience with WMS/inventory systems in a high-volume facility.
• Previous leadership experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to work overtime, including evenings and weekends.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of warehouse associates and operations leads to deliver on daily goals.
• Work closely with support staff (HR, Safety, Customer Service, Other Ops Leaders) to drive results.
• Address operational and personnel issues affecting functional area.
• Implement process improvements and workload efficiency mechanisms.
• Utilize workload planning tools and other resources to complete scheduled workload ensuring orders are fulfilled to meet standards.
• Investigate discrepancies and variances.
• Perform to quality standards in multiple functions.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
