Job summary

Stord is seeking an Area Manager II to lead a warehouse team in a high-volume facility, ensuring inventory accuracy and efficient operations. You will manage daily goals, drive process improvements, and collaborate with cross-functional support teams to maintain performance.

The role requires leadership experience, WMS/inventory system knowledge, and strong organizational and communication skills to excel in a fast-paced environment and overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two to four years’ experience with WMS/inventory systems in a high-volume facility.
• Previous leadership experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree or relevant experience; basic clerical/data entry skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills; drive tasks to completion.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of warehouse associates and operations leads to meet daily goals.
• Collaborate with HR, Safety, Customer Service and other Ops leaders to drive results.
• Address operational and personnel issues affecting the area.
• Implement process improvements and workload efficiency mechanisms.
• Use workload planning tools to ensure orders are fulfilled to standards.
• Investigate discrepancies and variances; maintain quality standards.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
