wet hydration is seeking a high-performing Area Sales Manager, based in Los Angeles, California, who brings ambition, strong leadership qualities, and a desire to join a winning team. This position will report to the VP of Sales. The focus for this role is growing our presence and performance within retailers across Southern California.
As an Area Sales Manager, you will play a critical role in expanding Wet Hydration's sales and visibility within your territory.
Responsibilities:
- Execute trade merchandising standards across all channels of business.
- Report field findings daily to your direct report.
- Develop, promote, and build brand loyalty both regionally and at store level.
- Build and maintain relationships with key decision makers at stores.
- Manage existing accounts and secure additional placements, including secondary points of purchase and cold placement.
- Provide weekly sales recaps, including successes, competition trends, deals, product launches, and opportunities.
- Implement monthly deals at store level to maximize brand potential and prevent out-of-stock situations.
- Identify and facilitate in-store sampling and educational opportunities with store managers.
- Utilize POS materials, coolers, and secondary placement tools provided by your manager.
- Plan weekly strategies to visit approximately 12-18 accounts daily, focusing on closing voids, increasing shelf presence, merchandising, and reordering.
- Ensure successful execution of new product launches and promotions.
- Merchandise effectively in-store using POS materials.
- Wear branded gear and keep cold products available for sampling.
- Provide weekly field updates and recaps.
- Spend approximately 90% of your time in the field visiting accounts.
- Quickly analyze opportunities and execute company goals efficiently.
- Adapt and problem-solve creatively to daily challenges.
- Maintain a clean driver’s license, reliable transportation, and proof of insurance.
- Be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Use basic MS Office Suite features (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Salary and Benefits:
- Starting annual salary between $65k-$80K, depending on experience.
