District Account Manager- Southwest Region

Hino Trucks is seeking a District Account Manager for Southern California and Phoenix, Arizona. This role is primarily remote, based in a central location within either state. The ideal candidate is goal-oriented, capable of building rapport with dealers and major fleets, and responsible for recruiting, training, and supporting Hino dealers in vehicle sales to fleets or small users.

Additional responsibilities include:

  1. Achieving sales goals for dealers and deliveries to customers.
  2. Recruiting and maintaining a network of dealers to ensure market coverage.
  3. Setting sales targets based on dealer market size.
  4. Ensuring dealers meet Hino standards, including inventory levels, trained staff, and participation in programs.
  5. Training dealers and sales staff on Hino products and sales techniques.
  6. Assisting in resolving customer complaints promptly.
  7. Encouraging dealer participation in trade shows and marketing activities.
  8. Monitoring market conditions and competitors, reporting findings to management.
  9. Supporting dealers in participating in Hino's marketing programs.
  10. Maintaining records of dealer activity, orders, inventory, and deliveries.
  11. Promoting timely reporting and compliance with sales policies.
  12. Helping dealers anticipate market demand and plan accordingly.
  13. Expanding Hino truck market penetration across all classes within the district.

Qualifications include:

  • College degree in sales/business administration preferred.
  • 5-10 years of successful sales experience, preferably in medium/heavy-duty trucks.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to manage and motivate sales teams.
  • Goal-oriented mindset.
  • Willingness to travel frequently.
